Fiscal Taxes

Hey whats up fans…

Just filed my fiscal sales taxes today and it looks like its time for an overdue post. Hope all the PaperAmmo souljahs are doing well in whatever bunker your fighting at. We/me have been busy focusing on the tattoo apprenticeship over at Big Checho’s Art & Design Co.

So stay tuned for some new work I’ll be posting… In the meantime the store front section will divert back to the SquareUp site as its a better interface IMO.

Head on over to the SHOP section of the site. We just got around to finally populating the store with inventory. If you didn’t get the chance to grab some posters at the San Diego Comic Con then now is the time to do so before the holiday rush. We limit our prints to just 20 so make a purchase while they’re available.

Post Comic-Con 2017

Its been about a good month since SD Comic-Con 2017 has just passed. Thanks again for all the love and support of both new and old friends & family that stopped by. The response to the booth, artwork and my staff have been excellent. Here’s just a few snapshots of  the visitors that came by this year. ‘Til next time… 2018 we’re coming for you!!!

We have recently partnered with The International Rescue Committee, more specifically with their San Diego branch, to help raise awareness of the refugee crisis. As of July 2017, a percentage of proceeds from all purchases will be donated to The IRC. In addition to monetary donations, The PaperAmmo Co. will also be participating in art based events with The IRC as well. We feel that this is the best way to give back, full circle. Namaste.

…so much going on!!!

SD Comic-Con preps going underway!!! The Annie and Athena project is in full swing. Again, thanks to everyone that participated and promoted the book project. We definitely have a lot to do to get some promotional materials ready for the con and setting a productive schedule to get the book done by mid-October. You can follow the updates on the project more closely on our Facebook page:

Our good friend Ryan Benjamin will be the guest artist for the next First Fridays at Liberty Station on July 1st, from 6-10 PM. He’ll be signing original artwork, prints and books. Swing by and check out the comic con goods produced by The PaperAmmo Co. as well!!!

Our other good friend NACU will also be at the studio on First Fridays to sell some of his gear as well. So if you missed out on the last event you can catch him here on the next First Fridays event on July 1st.

So the Kickstarter Cat Book Party was a great success!!! We’ve still got a long way to go with raising money towards our goal of $5000 but to hit $1500 in just 2 days have been overwhelming. We really appreciate the love and support. Please help spread the word on our project.

Workshops… Summer Classes… Cat Book Party!!!

New watercolor workshop just added!!! This time around it will be learning how gouache and watercolor works together. The first time around the workshop was practically sold out within the first day of posting. So if you are interested make sure to sign up A.S.A.P. And tomorrow, Saturday, April 23, we still have spaces left for the Landscape Sketching Workshop. Hope to see you there!!

We are also wondering what other workshops and classes you would like to have? The PaperAmmo Co. also tailors mentorship programs too thats super beneficial for a unique one-on-one learning experience.  As for now we just added some 2 week summer classes on traditional animation. Click on this link to navigate to the Classes section of the website.

And last but not least… The Annie and Athena cat book project is still ongoing!!! The Kickstarter event will be on Friday May 6th from 5:30-8 PM here at The PaperAmmo Company. More info here and also on our Facebook page as well. Come and support!!! It would mean a lot. If you cannot make it then an online presence of a generous donation to the project will be greatly appreciated.

Have an excellent weekend everyone. Thanks for visiting and see you again soon!!!
